<p>Has anyone from out of state looked into the health insurance requirement for our incoming freshman? Our state (Illinois) does not offer guest access in the state of Oregon which means my daughter will only be covered for accidents and emergencies while at school. I think this means we will be required to purchase the school policy which is quite pricey - over $2000 per year. Does anyone have any insight into this?</p>
<p>I used my health insurance family plan from OH but it has national coverage. You’ll need to contact the school to see if your policy is considered “comparable” to theirs.</p>
