hello? chances?plz

Are you male or female?

i am a female

spongelover, your stats are fine. School of Nursing, however, cares very much that you have a passion for the profession. So, write good essays and good luck!

oh ok thankyou anymore takes?

Wow, awesome test scores. If you applied ED I think you'd get in. What state do you live in?

new yorkkk

for nursing? probably pretty good

thank you anymore takes?

I have never chanced a nursing applicant, but I'd say you have a great shot at being admitted. Although your rough start at the beginning of High School certainly hurt your class rank, showing massive improvement will be favorable to the admissions committee. While your test scores and ECs are at and above the ideal level, as cathedra said, you really need to bring across your desire to become a nurse. The nursing program takes a very limited number of students each year, so with a cleverly devised essay, you should be able to gain admission. Good luck.

awwww thank you so much

nursing is harder than most people think... I should know, I was deferred and then rejected from Nursing and Health Care Management and i am trying to transfer again next year. I have had many conversations with the nursing adcons and deans they know exactly what they are looking for and can take very few. I know test scores are not everything to them so don't plan on being a shove in because of your 800. The school wants students who have taken many science courses in high school (all of them and more) and have a good mathematical record. Over all of this they want to know why you want to be a nurse, how you will be the best nurse, why you over everyone else, and how you will bring change into the hospital. The dean will ask you these plus many more questions if you are selected to receive an interview. they want proof that you care be ready to back yourself up. Good luck, maybe I will get to see you in the fall.

good shot, but anything can happen. about 20 kids in my school (class of 2007/2011) had like the same stats and figures...they all got rejected. i'm applying next year for the hell of it.

go for it. best of luck. may the force be with you.

./...........................thank you
