Hello...

So i’m a rarity, I was supposed to go to a new ivy league school in the fall, but will be going to Alfred University instead. I will skip over most of the extensive details…anyways, I wanna know all I can about Alfred. I’m hoping to be a mathematics or science major and get my phD, possibly go to med school for pharmacy or some advanced type of nursing (anesthesiologist, surgeon, etc). I have some quirks that some people would consider of negative connotation, but I enjoy them. For one I’m really anti-social (not asocial…know the difference ;)) I enjoy going against rules or not having rules, I keep to myself because I don’t like people much, yet I talk to almost anyone. I don’t really have anything unique about myself. I enjoy music, books, games, etc. Some other weird facts about myself: i’m obsessed with Freud(he’s my hero), I have an adversion to mayonnaise and raw meat,i’m extremely awkward and shy.I like traveling a lot too.I am a big city type of person and the atmosphere of Alfred University is scaring me a little bit. I feel like I will be extremely bored and possibly go off the deep end. I am up for partying and I drink, so if there is a party scene that would be a plus. I want to know if I will fit in there…if you go to Alfred, i’d love to hear anything you have to say. Thanks.

A new Ivy League school?

Reed College…one of the best schools in the country, as hard to get into as say Cornell but not on the actual list of ivys. It was from a magazine…i read…a while ago.

If you’re anti-social, and don’t want to follow any rules, why even consider a health care field? That’s pretty scary. Stick to research…please!

hahaha…being antisocial doesnt affect my ability to think.

The self-absorption is blinding.

If you are a big city type, why in the world would you go to AU? Have you visited??
My DD is going there in the fall, because she loves the program and the atmosphere. It is not a party school, and I hope you realize that the closest “big” city is almost 2 hours away (Rochester)
Good luck, sincerely.
