The first 3 are my dream schools, but I really need to add some less selective schools to my list in case I don't get in to those. Here are my stats:

Projected ACT: 32
GPA: 4.6
Top 5% of class
Most rigorous schedule possible at my school
I have only a couple EC's and they're nothing prestigious, but I'm passionate bout them.

The only real criterion I have is a respectable international relations program. Otherwise, I'm very flexible. Any suggestions?

First off, Claremont McKenna is not “less selective” than any of your dream schools. I don’t know if you intended to make it sound that way, but that’s how I understood it.

Secondly,

George Washington had a good program for undergrad.
American University
University of Michigan
UCSD
and possibly Syracuse.

I didn’t mean for it so sound like that at all, sorry! It was more like, CMK is on the list, but I’d prefer the first 3 more. And then, USD is on the list as a safety.

I’ll second GWU, American, and add UMaryland-College Park to your DC area list. Apply early for UMCP to be eligible for merit aid. Many students seem to prefer GWU or American. You’ll need to visit to see if you prefer one over the other. GWU in particular wants to be shown love and respect, and does not want to be treated as a backup to Georgetown. That said, my D1 (a freshman at Tufts) loved GWU. It was her #2 choice overall.

Look at Macalester, in St. Paul. Lots of international students, and a quirky vibe. Plus merit money.

I’d probably add some more MATCH schools to your list as well as financial match and safeties. I also think GW is a good choice and you should get some (reiterate “some”) merit-based aid there to help offset their extremely high tuition.

george washington university actually has some really good financial aid.

and american university has a few great scholarships that you would definitely qualify for…

you should definitely look into johns hopkins too.

U Mich is a great school for IR… but it’s super expensive for out of state and i don’t think you would get as great of a financial aid from U mich than you would from other schools.

Does anyone have more suggestions? So far I’m really looking at Georgetown, Tufts, Northwestern & Johns Hopkins- I still need to expand my list and time is running out!
