Hi,
I’m currently a sophomore at a 4-year college. I have been planning to transfer for a year now. I will be getting my associates this spring 2020 in general studies.
These are my stats.
Cumulative college GPA( before this fall semester ends but will probably stay the same)
- 3.85
High school- 3.5 ish I don’t remember that well
ACT/SAT- I will not be sending in my scores if it’s not mandatory
College EC’s - not a lot I know
Internship- HR in recruitment assistance
Volunteer- Translator/ receptionist at a free clinic
Club member
Part-time jobs
Reason for transferring- I want a university that has more opportunities for internships, co-op, research, or involvement in the community.
These are a few of the colleges I was thinking of (I narrowed down a bit) (If there are any suggestions I would love to know)
Drexel University
Boston University
unc chapel hill * ( doubt I’ll get in)
University of Rochester *(doubt I’ll get in)
The problem is IDK if I still want to major in COMM. Thanks to some of the opportunities I have had, I’m better at admin or managing. So I have been leaning a little more towards business.
Possibilities (not all schools have these majors, and the health admin is not in the business school they have)
(Health admin management)
( business admin/ management )
I know that not everyone gets a job in what their major is but still.
Anyways…
If I apply to their school of business, I doubt I’ll get in. Cause prerequisites…
Should I apply as a comm major?
Or as a business major?
Please help
Any advice?
I would appreciate it
