Thanks a lot!!!!=]

what do you want to major in? how big of a school do you want? If the schools are in or around boston, i highly suggest using the T (subway).

If you are a member of triple aaa you can go on line and map out a route based on colleges and universities. That was how I did it last spring when my son was looking. some times it's easier to get the map out before you call to schedule appointments as I had to reschedule several based on the routes. I found it really helpful though. It gave approx mileage and travel time. If you are planning visits, you should plan on 2 a day if it's close by. Most schools have tours and information sessions at certain time and not past three, so if you hit one first thing in the morning, allow for enough time to look around and travel, you can maybe get to another in the afternoon. Brandeis and Wellesy are very close, but even with their closeness, you could probably not fit another in that day. I would plan travel after and try to find two schools close by for the next day.
Edited to add, if you are definitely doing those 4 I would plan Brandeis and Wellesy and then drive out to Western mass as you could definitely do Smith and Mount Holyoke in one day. If you want to see more in Boston, I would add another day. Are you driving and from where? That might also impact on which you see when.

Thank you sooo much you two!!! =))
I'm flying to Boston from Maryland,so I definitely wanna visit as more schools as I expect...

Smith and Mt. Holyoke are part of the 5 college consortium, which includes Amherst, Hampshire, and UMass/Amherst. They are actually closer to Bradley International Airport, which is north of Hartford, CT. Also in that area (south of Hartford) is Wesleyan. About an hour northwest of Smith is Williams. A couple of hours southwest of Smith or Williams are Vassar and Bard.
