Hey everyone,
I’m a rising senior in high school and will begin applying to colleges in a few weeks. If y’all could give me some feedback on my chances at the schools I’m planning to apply to, I would really appreciate it!
-NC State University
-UNC Chapel Hill
-Tulane University
-Vanderbilt University
-Texas Christian University
A little bit about me:
White female from a public high school in North Carolina
ACT: 32
SAT: didn’t take it because my PSATs were awful
APs: I haven’t gotten the scores back but so far I’ve taken World History, Biology, and US History
GPA: 4.6 weighted, 3.8 unweighted (however my school has a 7 point grade scale, meaning that only 93-100 is an A)
Class Rank: top 25%
Class Size: ~225
Extracurriculars:
-Varsity field hockey
-Varsity track and field
-Red Cross Club (officer for 2 years)
-National Honor Society, 1 year (officer)
-Volunteer field hockey coach for a youth league, 2 years (80+ service hours)
I’m looking to be on the pre-med track, with a major in biology (most likely).
Also, please leave suggestions for other colleges that I may have overlooked!
I want to stay in the south and go to a school that is medium-large population wise (no tiny liberal arts schools). Also, I would really like my school to have a ton of school spirit and popular sports.
Thanks!!
