Help! Collegeboard SAT II policy is strange...

If you cancel one sat II, you have to cancel BOTH scores. I did SAT II bio and US History Today. I want to cancel US History cause procter gave 50 instead of 60 minutes, and I left 17 questions undone/ungridded. I complained but no one cares. Can I convince CB to cancel just US History?

I'd call them and let them know the situation. Then maybe they can cancel just one of the scores...

wait, if you originally signed up for 3 SAT II's, and left after the second one--the ones you did will still be scored right?

i haven't taken SAT IIs so I don't know how the forms work, but I'd be more concerned the 3rd test would be reported as a 200.

I signed up for just BIO and US History

CB will only grade the tests that you have filled out, regardless of which you signed up for. On that note if you added a test THAT day, they will also grade this and bill you later.

Hyper2400...I would call CB and let them know. They'd also want to know if there was a problem with a proctor. I'm sure if you explain the situation they'll try to do something to solve the problem.

No, otherwise a naughty test taker could secretly use an extra hour from a different subject test, then cancel the bad one.

WAIT! OH MAN! So, today I was suppose to take Biology, American, and Math IIc. I choose to leave right before Math IIc. So, my Biology and American aren't going to be graded!

No...I think you can add or not do tests that day...but you cannot cancel afterwards UNLESS you have a calculator malfunction and you fill out a form AT the test center. I think if you have a calc problem you can also call like RIGHT after the test. But if you just didn't do one period I don't think they care..as long as you don't cancel it AFTERWARDS.

So, if I didn't do the Math IIc, but I did the others--Bio and American get graded, and they just debunk, so to speak, the Math IIc; they just don't grade it, and won't be on my score report?

You can always look through the tests and see if u want to take it or NOT
if u dont, u can just not write anything.. and it just wont be counted..

Yes IvyLeague. I am under the impression that the policy works like that. I could be wrong but I'm almost certain this is how it goes. Check online if you can.

Here's the policy:

If you signed up for 1 and want to take extra tests, you can take them on test day and cb will just bill you later

if you signed up for 2 or 3 tests but want to not take 1 or 2 of the tests, just dont do them and they will not be counted. the ones you did do will be counted

if you did 2 or 3 tests and want to cancel one or more tests, ALL TESTS WILL BE CANCELLED

if your proctor was unfair and did not follow the rules, cb may allow you to cancel one but this is a special circumstance and i dont know how it works

wow...variance, that's a good idea, look through the tests first and go for the one that seems easier (if you studied for two, but want to take one)

I think all your tests will be canceled. The policy is that a test left completely blank will automatically be cancelled. If one test gets cancelled so must all of them.

How do I contact collegeboard? It can't be through SAT I score service.

go to collegeboard.com..i'm sure a service number is in there somewhere

I know you can't just cancel "one" SAT II subject test, but I've also heard of people who've signed up for three and only took two and just lost the money they paid for the math exam.

I just emailed collegeboard.

Don't just believe everyone here (including me)..what you need to do is call CB.

Ohh Ivy..NO no NO! Don't email them..I've tried before and they just send you generic emails back that don't really answer your question (well at least they did for me). Your safest bet is to Call.
