Hi, I'm currently a sophomore planning out my schedule for junior year. These are the classes I'm taking right now..

10th Grade (now):
-Honors English 3-4
-Honors Algebra 2
-Honors Chemistry
-H Spanish 5-6
-AP World History
-Journalism/Newspaper
-Study Hall

I'm thinking of taking these for Junior year:
-AP English
-AP US History
-AP Chemistry
-Trig/Pre-calc
-Computers
-Health
-Art

Is this enough AP classes for junior year to look competitive for good colleges? Probably not..

I want to be con

I'm still contemplating whether I should take AP chemistry next year.. And should I take AP Spanish?

Any parents or college students that can help me with this, any help/tips is appreciated :)

Take AP Spanish because it’s known to be challenging and it looks good to have language for as many years as possible.

AP Spanish is hell though. You should take a language though. I’m currently a junior and I’m taking AP Chem and APUSH so I can tell you some things about them.

AP Chem is hard. Get that straight. Bio is all memorization but Chem is memorization, undertanding, and application. Make sure you have a good teacher.

APUSH is hard but not as hard as AP Chem. Expect reading every day and be sure to understand past events. It’s all about memorization.

Good luck.

I think you have good classes for next year. I’d say only take AP Chem if you like Chemistry. I’m in APUSH right now and it’s not that bad. I’m lazy, so I get Bs but I’m sure you can get an A.

I’m taking AP chem next year :D/

Take AP Spanish. If you like chemistry take AP Chemistry.

I took all three of those APs junior year and I was fine, A’s in all. You should take them :)
