So, as a high school junior, I'm already under enough stress. But to add to this whirlpool of chaos, my school/class is reaaaalllyyyy competitive when it comes to the college process....Every kid is applying to Duke, Maryland, MIT, etc...well..I'm not really like that. I'm into schools like UVM & UNH. My older sister goes to UVM & i fell in love from the minute i toured the campus. From the chillness to the beautiful campus, I just love it. I've decided that I'm going to apply early decision next year, but I'm really stressed about finding schools that are equivalent to UVM, so that i don't make any mistakes when applying. I'm personally looking for a school that is in a nice city, like how UVM is located in the heart of Burlington. I'd love a school medium-sized. As of now, i have around a 3.7 and I'm in all high level courses. My courses include: AP Us History, Physics Hon, Trigonometry, AP English, Forensics Science GT, AP Environmental Science, & AP Psychology, so my course load is pretty hard. Last year, my sophomore year, I did average. My GPA was a 3.2, so not really that good. I'm just really nervous about getting into schools, so if you could offer me some advice so i don't drown in college madness, it would be really appreciate. as well as that, if you have any recommendations regarding schools that sound like they would fit me, i would be really open to hearing them.
Thanks!

Lol.

Do you know what major or area of study you want to do?

@Bpearlman97 i want to do something with health studies and sciences. i’m not exactly sure what yet.

You sound like an exact replica of myself last year when I was a junior. All I could think of was “I’m never going to get into college.” To be completely honest with you, now I am a senior and the stress is even worse for me. My school is also EXTREMELY competitive and I feel like I don’t belong. Some of the schools that I recommend you look into: (these are schools that I personally am looking into) UA, UF, UCF, UNCC, and Towson University. I currently live in Florida but I am originally from Sweden so I love the North and I’m hoping I will find some schools that I like up there!

@Melanie96 Towson is a great school, but i literally live 10 minutes from it & i would go crazy if i stayed in state (lived in baltimore my entire life) but thanks so much! best of luck.

Oh, yeah I would not want to stay that close either! Good luck to you too, try not to stress too much about the future. Live for the moment :)
