I was born in the US and I am a US citizen, but did almost all of my schooling in India. My parents are both Indians.
So, will I be considered as an international applicant?
Also, are my chances of getting in comparatively lesser because my ethnicity is Asian?
Or will they not really care about the ethnicity and just consider me as a US citizen.
You will be considered a US citizen. You may be considered with a group of other students who attend schools in your region, but you won’t be considered an international applicant.
You do not have to reveal your race (not ethnicity) if you don’t want to. There is a question that asks for your race and then another that asks if you are Hispanic (ethnicity). You do not have to answer either.
While true, not answering the question will not boost your chances. Also, since the application asks for parents’ education, expect some assumptions to be made if one attended Indian Institute of Technology or if your name is Rajesh Koothrappali.
Additionally, as I have already told you, don;t create screaming clickbait titles by including “HELP!” in all of them. And finally, crating a second account is a violation of ToS, so closing thread.
