Hey fellow college confidential readers. I have been a frequent reader of many posts here at collegeconfidential.com. You may call me a closet post-reader. lol. Well, Its about that time at my school in which we choose our classes for next year. I was wondering if one of the following schedules would be more presentable, or viewed more scholarly than the other. Also, my dream schools are UPenn and UVA. (Resident of Virginia) I appreciate any help whatsoever!

AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
AP English Language and Composition
US Government Academic (regular)
Independent Science Research
Accounting
Economics
Study Hall

Versus

AP Calculus AB
AP Statistics
Advanced Composition & World Literature
US Government Academic (regular)
Independent Science Research
Accounting
Economics
Study Hall

The main differences are AP Calculus AB vs BC and the AP English versus Regular English. Also I am not sure if Independent Science Research is viewed by colleges as a weak science or decent science with a good enough reputation to replace other options such as AP Bio or AP Physics (I have take AP Chem, chemistry, bio, physics). I am essentially interested in pursuing a Finance Major at one of these schools, so im guessing the best option would be to take AP Calculus BC and Regular English? Please indulge me with your past experiences. Thank You
