I'm stressing as much as one could about my stats, let me know what you think, please

Biology Major
GPA: 3.75
Science (Premed GPA): 3.99
MCAT: 42 (first attempt)
Shadow Hours: 300+
ER Volunteer: Hours 300+
Research Experience: 4 Semesters (One of which was SURF - Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship, the rest were at my universities med school, year round)

Extras:
I work part time at my University's Med School. I work in Health Admin, directly with my department's residents.
I am a part time dancer, performing with a non-profit company.
I am a musician - I play 6 instruments proficiently. (my voice teacher is an ENT, its awesome)
I am fluent in 5 languages - English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and ASL.
I volunteer as an ESL tutor and teach dance at a school for the deaf and blind.
Student Body President for one year

My first two years of college were spent as a humanities major. I have a lot of W's, one D and one F for those two semesters. I was dealing with Cancer at the time and am going to do my best to reflect those struggles in my essays. I transferred universities after I pulled out of it, and received straight A's, including straight A's in all of my science and pre-req courses.

I believe I have a good shot... but I'm worried about those W's and two black eyes :(

I don't want to assume that you're being a troll since these were your first two posts, but it sounds really hard to believe someone with those stats would be worried about getting into A med school, let alone a competitive one.

I don't know what a troll is..... but I've been reading these boards for a while and wanted to ask a question so I signed up and posted it.

And there really IS a kid out there with cancer who teaches dance to a bunch of blind and deaf kids. I've been cancer free for two years, in which I could perform again and start a program at my deaf sisters school because she and her friends, who happen to be deaf, wanted to learn. I hope the admissions committee doesn't find it funny

I'm worried because of the ton W's and two bad grades. I know I could get into a reach school, but I AM worried about somewhere competitive....

most medical schools actually want you to be fluent in 6 languages, not 5. I suggest you pick up another language and then apply.

Also, it's helpful to work in small villages in various third world countries, healing small children who have lyme disease and no fingers or toes.

Your GPA is decent, and an alright MCAT. So just work on the 2 above aspects of your app, and you'll probably be ok.
