<p>There are ■■■■■■ who love writing stupid things on boards like these to stir up the pot… then there are those who take some sort of ego boost out of boasting. Over on violin.com I remember this one post, where this one person kept talking about how great they were, how at auditions the panel told them they were the best violinist they had seen since Heifetz, etc (and this supposedly was at places like Juilliard and Curtis and so forth!)…</p>

I’m sure it’s not the norm, but doesn’t seem impossible.</p>
