I'm really really in need of some desperate help. I'd really like to talk to someone one-on-one who can guide me through the pressures of Columbia's admissions. Currently, I am a Hispanic male trotting into his senior year of high school. I am just uncertain about my qualifications of gaining admission and if I can increase my chances in someway. If you could help me, please AIM me at DistantHorizon17. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

What exactly do you want to know? At this point, other than writing top-notch essays, there isn't much you can do to increase your chances. Your grades and tests are what they are.

What "pressures" are you concerned about? The Columbia application is pretty similar to most other applications. You need to get letters from your teachers and counselor, fill out the forms, write the essay, pay the fee, etc.
