I'm a rising sophomore and since I'm planning to taking the LSAT after I graduate in May 2012, what should I do to help improve the skills needed for proficiency on the LSAT as well as law school? I just want some advice on what to do before I formally study for the LSAT. Do you think reading magazines like The Economist and Time and expanding my vocabulary are good enough?

Quit worrying, study for the test when it gets closer. Of course reading dense material will help but still you’re a ways away

I agree with vincere, but I do think that doing a few logic games every weekend or just once in a while in the meantime (before you “formally study”) would do you some good, you know, to get your brain thinking in that way. But, yes, read read read. Also, I think that taking courses that are reading/writing heavy would be great…especially if the papers you’ll be writing are research/analytical papers.
