Help! I submitted my common application 2 days a go, and when I review it, I realized that on the interested filed of academics, I selected Photography and Film instead of Mechanical Engineering. I don’t know why the heck I would select photography, but thing just happened.I already sent an email to the college and explained that I made mistake, but they haven’t replied, yet. I wrote about mechanical engineering on my essay, I just accidentally selected photography and film. Gosh! hate myself now.
“I already sent an email to the college and explained that I made mistake, but they haven’t replied, yet.” Because IT’ IS SUNDAY.
IK, what I’m trying to ask is that is this a huge mistake? I wrote my personal statement about mechanical engineering, but if they see I select photography and filming as intended major, then it wouldn’t make any sense wouldn’t it?
It’s a typo. Admissions will correct it. Call in a week or so to make sure that they have. Relax.
Thank you very much, and also, I put National Honor Society as national level recognition. I know ! ! I’m so silly. Should I email the admission to correct them as well? or they know NHS is school level recognition.
National Honor Society is a national level recognition…
But common application website says they are school level recognition
I wouldn’t worry about the NHS thing, it’s a simple mistake, no need to draw attention to it. If you apply to any other schools, make sure you make the change going forward.
The major one is a little more serious, but as you already emailed them, I think you are covered. Wait a week or so, if they don’t email you back, give them a call.
