help in deciding

Daughter is Christian Bio/pre-med major and is deciding between Pepperdine and Biola. Any thoughts?

Great advice here:

Basically, it all comes down to fit, opportunity and cost.

Neither of the schools you mention offer any substantial benefit/boost for medical school admission.

Because the number of freshmen pre-meds who never apply to med school is very high (70-75%), your D should choose a school that she would be happy at if pre-med were not a consideration.

She should also try to minimize any undergrad debt because medical school is very expensive and the only FA offered is loans, loans and more loans. If all else is equal, choose the less expensive school.

A student can be a successful pre-med nearly anywhere. Pre-med coursework is basically all lower level science classes. The onus of getting the stuff needed to have a successful med school application (excellent GPA, strong MCAT scores, the expected pre-med ECs, strong LORs, a thoughtful & well written personal statement, etc.) all rests squarely on the shoulders of the student.
