Help in regards to high school classes!

Hi everyoone, just want to pop a quick question on high school classes.

I am very interested in the school Illinois Wesleyan but noticed something I over looked and am hopeing it isnt a huge problem.

In a book I read (sorry name elludes me) at Borders today about US colleges it said that Wesleyan reccomends haveing 3 years of a foreign language however I only have 2 as of now.

Will a college/university not accept me becasue of this?

Thanks in advance

This kinda depends on how much they want you. If you are a top student then I would expect that even if you only have the 2 years they will take you. Also forget the book and go to their admissions website it generally has better information on it.

Reccommended is not the same as required, but it tells you what your competition is doing.

http://www.iwu.edu/instres/dataset/0910CDS/c.admissions09.pdf

At the top of page 2 is the information you seek.

IWU recommends 3 years.

Thanks HitMan…I was on their site awhile yesterday and couldn’t find that. Thanks alot and since its only recommended do you think I can get away with 2 years?

You can get in with 2 years. Just make sure that the rest of your schedule is competitive.
