Help is much appreciated!!!

I am currently a freshman at Michigan State University. For my first semester, I had a 3.857 GPA. Although I did well, I was miserable because it was not what I thought it would be and I believed the cost outweighed the benefit. Even though I was quite dissatisfied, I decided to stick out the semester and then apply to colleges to transfer to for Spring of 2013. The bad news is that I was denied by all of my top choices. I disliked my experience so much during the first semester that I was even considering going to the local community college for the rest of the year instead of returning back to Michigan. Once again though, I decided to stick it out. Four days into moving back in at MSU I have decided that I made a terrible decision. I contacted my local community college and they informed me that I would be able to transfer there because the semester starts a little later in January.

With that said, I aspire to be a lawyer someday and would like to go to a well-respected law school. If I attend a community college from a major university for the rest of this semester, or even for my entire sophomore year, will that have a negative impact on my future dreams of going to a good law school? Also, if I transfer to a community college for the Spring semester, will that diminish my chances of transferring to a better school than Michigan State for next fall?
