Hello! I live in Washington and I'm going into my senior year after this summer. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA and I'm taking my SAT/ACT in the fall and aiming for an 1850 at least. I've taken 3 AP classes so far (3 more this upcoming year) and a handful of honors classes in my freshman and sophomore year.

In terms of extra curriculars, I'm in National Honors Society, Model UN, Key Club, and another feminist oriented club at my school. I won a presidential service award for my volunteering and I am a link leader/part of link crew. I work two jobs, which I've heard is worth mentioning on applications.

I realize it's a bit hard to figure things out without SAT scores but I just wanted a bit of an idea.

I'm aiming for:
University of Washington
UBC
BU
San Diego State

just as a starting point but other university suggestions are more than welcome. thank you!

What are you hoping to major in?
From your list, SDSU is the odd one out (OOS State school) - any specific reason you picked it?
BU is unlikely to be affordable.

How about Western Washington’s Honors Program, or Evergreen?

Then of course look into U Puget Sound, Walla-Walla, Whitman, Whitworth :)

If you were willing to relocate, you would probably increase your odds by picking a school outside your region, especially in the midwest and the South.

Yeah, BU is fairly expensive but I have family that wants me to apply so it’s more of just an out there school, haha.

I forgot to mention SFSU along with SDSU and I’ve actually toured those and quite liked them so I was just trying to figure out if I’m in the right range. :)

I think I’ll apply to Western as well, yeah, thanks! I think my family is set on me going to UW however. So I guess my best options are California state schools and a couple around here. Thanks for the suggestions!

and in terms of majoring, I’d like to major in communications since that offers a number of fields and then I’ll probably match that to either some sort of media minor or maybe sociology.
