Help me calculate my unweighted GPA?

I have a pretty high weighted GPA because I've taken various AP and honors courses at my school. But I know that colleges also calculate their own UW GPA on a 4.0 scale, and I'm not sure what mine is. Do they include freshman year grades or band grades? (my high school includes freshman year grades on the transcript, but doesn't calculate them in my weighted GPA)

Freshman Year
5 full year courses: A, A, A, A, A
2 half-year electives: A, A-
Band: A

Sophomore Year
6 full year courses: A, A-, B, A, A, A
Band: A

Junior Year (projected)
6 full year courses: A, A-, B+, A, A, A
Band: A

Thanks for your help!

Basically, A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, etc. You add up your course totals and divide by how many courses you had to get the average.

For example, freshman year you had a 4.0. Sophomore year you had a 3.833 or a 3.86 if you count band. Junior year you’d have the same grades respectively. For cumulative high school, that would be 3.89, or a 3.9 if you count band.

That being said, some colleges assign an A- as 3.7 points instead of 4.0, so the math is a bit different. Your guidance counselor would be the most accurate source.
