So basically, I originally applied to McGill's Arts&Science program and their Biomed, Bio, and Life Sciences program. I was accepted into the first, then waitlisted at the second. I rejected McGill and decided on Rice as a Biochem and Cell Bio major, since McGill's Arts&Science program isn't as great as the other. Now, today I found out I was accepted into McGill's Biomed, Bio, and Life Science faculty, which is arguably the most prestigious program at McGill. The problem is, I've already fallen in love with Rice. My heart is saying Rice, but my brain is saying McGill. Here are my pros and cons for each school, help?!

McGILL PROS:
1. feeling like i'm living in Europe (i'm originally from Europe, though I live in the US; i really do miss Europe)
2. Montreal (the city, the nightlife, the flavor)
3. being an adult.
4. the BSc program, obviously.
5. the price (approx $10,000 a year! i'm a Canadian citizen)

McGILL CONS:
1. the administration is ...er...not too great, i've heard.
2. not enough guidance, perhaps (too much independence?)
3. the lack of "community" that Rice definitely has
4. the weather (so cold!)
5. the campus (kinda mehh)
6. the size (800 people a class is a tad large.....)

RICE PROS:
1. the community (the residential colleges)
2. the campus (gorgeous!)
3. the continually increasing prestige (acceptance rate dropped from 22% last year to 18% this year!)
4. Baylor Med / Texas Med Center / NASA internship opportunities
5. the size (3,000 undergrads is perfect)
6. the weather

RICE CONS
1. the PRICE ($52,000 a year - very steep)
2. the fact that, well, it's in Texas...which is exactly the opposite of Europe).

pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase tell me opinions. i'm so torn and i have until June 29th to choose, but i'm leaving for Europe on Saturday, so I kinda need to choose by then. what makes it harder is that i've already made friends and stuff at Rice, but i can't decide what would be smarter or better for me.....
