My list of colleges

  1. Vanderbilt
  2. Williams
  3. Hamilton
  4. Vassar
    I am an international student and I want to apply to the four colleges mentioned above.
    Ofcourse I want to go to a good college, but I want to get accepted too.lol
    What three colleges should I apply to?

We need more information than just your list of choices. What is you GPA, SAT/ACT, EC’s, etc.? Once you give that we can help you more.

All of the schools you have listed are very selective colleges. You will need to have a few “safety” schools if you want to have a better chance of coming to America for college- it’s something all applicants, domestic & international, have to deal with.
I would also be concerned about finances- can your parents pay? Most american colleges are “need-aware” for international applicants.

You need to balance your list. Are you only applying to 3 or 4 colleges? Overall your stats are strong barring the SAT that you haven’t taken.

Students applying to colleges this caliber would have 10-12 colleges on their list, and international students many more.
You’re competitive, which if you’re a full pay international means your odds are about the same as americans, and if you’re an international who needs financial aid your odds are 1/2 to 1/3 of this.
For instance, your odds at Vanderbilt are probably around 10% if you don’t need financial aid, and 3-5% if you do.
