Okay, so here's my thing. I got into the Political Science program at a large state school in Massachusetts (I'm sure you can guess which one I'm talking about), whose room and board/tuition would end up coming to about $18,000 (I got that Abagail Adams Scholarship for MCAS scores, but I think they're raising the price). It would cost me $40,000 per year (plus the loans I got from financial aid) to go to Northeastern for the Poly Sci program.

I love Northeastern and will be more than willing to take out the loans for it, but what does NEU have to offer that makes it worth it? And I'm not looking for specifics into the differences between the two schools. What are the advantages that NEU will offer that this large state school will not such that I will be paying that much more?
