Help me find safety schools based on my reach schools !!

I have assembled a fair sized list of schools that I would like to apply to, however they are all reach or match schools. I am having trouble finding safety schools that really interest me. Based on the following list, what are some good safety schools I should consider? I would prefer to have a 2-3 inexpensive, less-selective schools to look at and possibly apply to.

Current Reach/Match Schools: Notre Dame, Boston College, Villanova, Wake Forest, American
Desired Major: Political Science/International Relations
Residence: Philadelphia

As you’ve listed them, your reach/match schools already represent a wide range with respect to selectivity.

Well I wouldn’t use anything that will be five years old next fall in your analysis. Things have moved quickly upward.

Your reach for nearly all students schools are ND and BC. Villanova and Wake right behind that in the reach category.

If you are competitive for those schools American will be a solid match.

On the match and safety side of things once again assuming those types of schools are great schools that would be reasonable targets for you.

Pitt Penn State College Elon

Safety College of Charleston UVM URI Catholic u Delaware St. John’s temple st joes Marquette

The above list was intended as an indicator of range in selectivity – well over 100 places across the OP’s choices. I’d recommend as well that the OP access orher sources for current statistics on colleges of interest.

@merc81 I agree 100%. I was thinking more about the pop in numbers for bc snd the increased selectivity of Villanova and wake. And sat is only one measure. I think only American doesn’t fit the group.
