Help me get a BIKE

<p>Well I'm interested in purchasing a bicycle for transportation // college commuting etc. Last bike I bought was a BMX one with pegs in 6th grade so im rather clueless. Anyone know what type of bike I should be looking for? Thin wheels vs thick? And what would be a good approx price? Not looking for anything special... maybe just some different gears and a seat to sit on.</p>

<p>Mountain bike or Road bike? I heard the road bikes are uncomfortable for basic transportation? Does it force you to always lean forward in that oh so aerodynamic position?</p>

<p>Go to your local dealer and test ride a few. You won't know what you're comfortable on unless you take it for a stroll in the parking lot and can see yourself riding it around campus.</p>

<p>But if you got money and wanna take that baby through the ringer...I recommend the Specialized FSR.</p>
