Help me guys, confused international student here, plz don't ignore this...

I actually have more than 1 question.
My stats:

Because most colleges deadline had passed, I registered in County College of Morris -community college, but I believe I can do much better! Someone I know got in Harvard - scored 2050 on SAT and 107 on TOEFL iBT but faked the ***** out of the rest except for grades!!!! I've worked my as* to collect all these stuff!

I plan to take the SAT again on September and score at least 2000...
I'll try to transfer to New Jersey Institute of Technology-with their policy for Int Students, I'll pay only 9-10k a year for tuition just like locals+other potential schoolarships ...

Please suggest me some nice colleges from all over USA I could transfer to, and pay no more than 10k for tuition (due to scholarships or anything similar)... DO I have any chance for ivies, like Cornell?

Thanks for taking your time to read this. I'm almost desperate for there is so much to do, little time (I have the final exams of high school May-June) and I don't think I'm well informed :| Thanks again :D

Perhaps you should report that student to Harvard admissions so they can rescind him and give his spot to someone on the waitlist who deserves it. You’re not cheating on your applications, so why let him get the easy way out?

As for you, I am skeptical that they will admit you unless you do a junior transfer and pull off a 4.0. Your high school record does not appear to be that great (relatively). You will also have great difficulty finding somewhere “nice” that tuition is <9K per year for an international.

Oh cmon! 10/10, it’s like having A+ in every subject for every year, It can’t get any better than that, leadership skills, endless training experiences European style, endless hours of volunteerism and a nice story how I beat depression and stuff, engaged in arts, diversity lover and more stuff, can it get any better?? (except for the SAT part :stuck_out_tongue: lol xD)

My stats are not bad right? What are some nice (top) colleges in which the chances are a bit higher for me to get in, and in which I don’t have to pay more than 10k for tuition (like 48k for tuition-38k scholarship=I pay no more than 10k$)

If you get an A+ in your math class and a 620 on the Math 2 SAT test (let alone an A+ in English and a 300 critical reading score), which is perhaps the easiest SAT subject test to score highly on, it indicates that there is a problem with grading or the rigor of the material you are learning.

Consider reporting that jerk who stole someone’s spot to Harvard Admissions. You probably won’t because you ignored it, but it’s not like he would ever know.

omg bro  -__-
First of all, I’m not from USA, I come from Europe, eastern Europe and the educational system is different. The maths we do here in the 5th grade is what people in USA do in the 7th.
Secondly, I scored 680 → 42 correct answers, 5 wrong, and 3 empty out of 50 questions in a 60-minutes exam and this is the worst I could ever do. WE (the students in my country) are not used to limitations in time, there is always enough time to review all the test. The stuff on the SAT maths are so easy I never reviewed anything, but damn it! 45 seconds to read the exercise, select a,b,c or d and move on to the next exercise, and that’s it! if you did it, u r okay, however no time to check for the second time if u did it well, nor will u be able to go back to check the exercises you left blank…
370 on Critical thinking-> left most of it uncompleted, not enough time dude! I took the FCE-test (First Certificate in English test which is all what endless universities around Europe demand) with an A when I was at the 8th grade, so please don’t question my abilities. But then again, in that case, time was more than enough!
Maybe I should srsly consider the ACT.
About the Harvard thing, it’s a girl, non-active, ignores everything around, focuses only on homework etc. Corruption is great here, that’s how she did it … and while it is true that her mom doesn’t work, she owns 25% of an apartment block facing the lake… do the math … I don’t have anything against her, it’s about me! I’ve been doing all this stuff through years, active participation, European activism etc endless stuff man! I regret nothing, but it just feels bad that the sacrifices to achieve all these things are not worth it when it comes to the university part… Maybe I should have taken the ACT at the first place …
