I am attending the University at Albany - SUNY and will be graduating in the next two years. I am an accounting major and trying to prepare myself for graduate school and ultimately take the CPA exam.
I have been thinking a lot about grad school and which colleges I am interested in applying too (I know, I still have time.) This may sound strange, but would I have a chance at any of these colleges’ graduate programs coming from UAlbany?
New York University, Stern
University of Virginia
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Rutgers University, New Brunswick
University of Illinois, Urbana Champagne
University of Georgia
University of Texas, Austin
Would any of the ivy leagues even consider me? Such as Penn, Columbia, or Yale?
Keep in mind, I am coming from a community college and transferring to UA this fall. I plan on maintaining a strong GPA (Currently have a 3.75 cumulatively, took 41 credits total this past year) and involving myself in many clubs/organizations once I’m at UA.
I haven’t seen/heard of anyone attending these schools after going to a SUNY for the undergrad, but I don’t see why that couldn’t be possible.
