<p>I am helping a friend who is applying to MIT this year and he is quite desperate now. Part 1 has already been submitted (and paid!), and part 2 has passed validation completely, but when he clicks on print preview, it downloads a file with 0kb that doesn't open. Does anyone have any idea of what might be happening? It was working fine 30min ago...</p>
<p>If it validated and submits without issues, I don’t think there is anything to worry about.</p>

I’m not able to submit my application though it passed the validation. I sent them an email notifying them about the issue and sent screenshots of the error page, and all my essays in a Word doc :)</p>
<p>Guys I went through the same, and today I finally managed to send.
The problem is , go to section 9 where you put your signature , remove the tick in the box and save. You will get an error. again tick and save and continue. Try print preview…
This worked for me…Try!</p>
<p>Have you tried different browsers? Had a similar problem with Common App. Didn’t work with FF, but worked with IE.</p>
