I’m currently upcoming senior who will be applying this fall.
I’m expecting to get 32+ on ACT this fall
SAT II Math 2 770 Chem 730 ( 
didnt realize i need to study for those so… lol)
unweighted GPA 4.0
2015 APs are not out yet, but im not like all 5 or 4 type of person, probably gonna be a few 3s. Sophomore year AP Chem 4 (teacher never finished the course lol again)
I am an international student but enrolling in a private american high school.
freshman year my course is messed up by the counselor but junior year i took Duel enrollment calculus 1, AP physics 1, APUSH, AP english lang, AP computer science, an honor course and self-studied AP environmental science.
Senior i’ll be taking Duel enrollment calculus 2, AP physics C, AP gov, Duel enrollment micro/macro, AP english lit, AP biology, Duel enrollment statistics, an honor course and a IT course for casio A++.
Activities: jazz band(10-12), varsity rowing(9-12), key club(11-12), NHS, FIRST robotics team(leader)(10-12) with other minor clubs
My school had some serious problem with my GPA so ranking does not reflect me at all but my course load is the hardest possible at my school and junior year GPA is the highest at my school. Chinese is my natural language. Ive only been speaking english 24/7 for the past two years.
I spent most of my time on robotics from January to April each year. Usually everyday from 7 to past mid night, sometimes 3 or 4 in the morning and go to school the next day. So i dont have much of other activities or practice much for standerlized tests. I joined team sophomore year, became a vital member in design and building robots, also chief of scouting and analysis. will become captain next year. We are a really small and financially insufficient team but we won a regional this year, rated best team in florida 76th in the world. (one of the few thing i like about my school). (This program really taught me a lot about engineering related fields, i feel like this could be a big part in my essays.)
Probably dont have any hooks that would be helpful. No job or summer experience in US cuz visa restriction.
I’m aiming at engineering for sure. But not the specific major. Considering Bio-medic Engineering, Aeronautical engineering.
Currently my dream is Stanford (dont really this is realistic after reading things on college confidential…)
also Johns Hopkins, UC Berkeley, Cornell, Rice, U Michigan, Georgia Tech, U Washington, U Texas Austin,
(Plz list other schools i didnt not list that would be good options for me)
