<p>My friend is taking a course from the Art Instruction School home course (you the one's they advertise on t.v.). He is a senior but does not want to go to college, thinking that a job offer will come after he gets his certificate for the home instruction program on the basis that the college sends his portfolio to 12,000 businesses. Is there any way you can convince him to go to some college because, as we all know, without any extraordinary talents, one cannot make a living being an artist? He is interested in carpentry and drawing and should be exposed to other interests.
