For Critical Reading, I understand that my major problem is my lack of vocabularies (i’m a ESL Student), so is there any way I can do well on PSAT/SAT even without a wide range of voacbs? Or all I can do is memorize vocabs? What lists are good?

I understand PSAT doesn’t need preparing, and I can’t get NMSF anyway (I’m internatinoal), but I just treat it as a SAT practice test. I’ve figured many of my problems, and there are others I need you to identify and solve.

For grammar, I constantly make mistakes in sentence changing and the Identifying Error. How can I improve?
Is the “Grammar Smart” published by PR any good?

My goal for SAT (Which I hope to take in Jan) is 700s on CR and W, 800 on Math , which sums up to 2200+

Plzzz, give any suggestions. I really need your help

hey man i am feeling u, i am an international student too. Well so far i see no shortcut way to improve the score except taking practice test over and over and over and over and over..........again and again and again..........and again...
and some memorizing words can help, too.
I think both of us need keep our eyes open and see wat stuff that others have done...besides u have moretime than i do,u will be fine, i am graduating this year...

hello
i'm also an international student and have the same problems with english..... but i have a nice trick to follow..... START READING MAGAZINES, NOT ANY, I MEAN... LIKE TIME, THE ATLANTIC, ETC..... MAGAZINES WHERE THERE IS A REASONING AND A DISCUSSION...... get the idea???? i rose nearly 150 points in my critical reading just by reading them..... AND PRACTICE FOR YOUR ESSAYS...... english is the greatest threat to international students...... since the test is designed for US students.....

take it to get familiar with the test.
International student here too! If english is not your first language, and you have proof to prove that you have competent skills in other langauges... I'm quite sure ad com will see the scores differently, my fren with a 650 in CR and 580 in writing got into Northwestern! And his first assignment in expository writing, he got an 11/12 score for it, so dun worry!
Unless you guys are really looking forward to Ivies and Top unies, like stan or duke or mit. Be prepared for 700-750++ becoz they mostly have cut-off scores like 650++ for everyone, irrespective of nationality... GOOD LUCK!
