Sorry to bother you guys, but i needed to know how to solve these pre-cal and physics problems for my summer assignment.

Solve for variables

1sin 60° = nsin 45°

n sin 30° = 1.1sin 50°

b= 10log(310^-3/110^-12)

Convert 50ps to Gs.

Kk thank you!

Are you allowed to use a calculator ???

1) you need to divide sin60 by sin45 whick will give you n=-0.358(3 sig fig)
If this is the answer you want I will tell you the rest or do you need the EXACT answer ???

I think i just need number 3. I figured out the rest.

well you can just type it in the calculator and you will get 94.7712… or get it simplified to 10log(3)+90 which will give the same answer I dont really understand your question why do you want to know how when you can easily type it in the calculator also is this answer correct or do you need it in another form… :D:D:D

Oh i think thats right cus i was just wondering
if i have 10log (310^9)
would i just multiply them together
or would it be power of 90? like 310^90

It will be 10log(3)+ 10log10^9 , 10log(3)+90log(10) and since log10 has base power 10 it will be equal to 1 , 10log(3)+90 type it in the calculator and youll get the answer hope I helped you… :D:D:D

Ah i see thank you so much!!

your welcome… If you have any other questions I might be of help to you :D:D:D
