Hi everyone, I just received an email from U-Chicago that my application is not completed. So i checked my credentials and it states that HS transcript is still missing along with Tofel Score and Midyear Report ( the latter two I believe are not needed in my case since I have lived in Canada almost all my life and our school's first semester grade hasn't come out yet) So, then I must be missing HS transcript right? But one thing I don't get is Isn't HS transcript same as the official high school transcript? If It is so, then the admission office apparently has received my official high school transcript.

Is HS trancript just another form to be filled out or something else? Oh god, I am going into a panic state right and worst of all, I need to send it across the continent in two days.

It depends. You need to go online and check whether the a) Form 2A: Secondary School Transcript Report is missing, or whether b) your high school transcript is missing. Both have similar names that contain the word transcript, but Form 2A is filled out by a counselor, and the "HS Trancript" is just offical documentation (usually printed) of your high school record. I would suggest checking your email and your credentials online page. If you have any other questions, post here, and I will be happy to answer them.

Thx so much floridian07, I think the high school transcript is missing. the wierd thing is that I send the secondary transcript report and the the official transcript you know with all the marks on it for the past 5 years and conselor's recommendation letter all in one big fat package. But right now, only HS transcript is missing. So, I believe if I am understanding it correctly, the official transcript is missing in this case then?

There is no distinction on the credentials page between an unoffical and an offical transcript. In fact, the page only lists one transcript as possible to be recieved and calls it "HS Transcript." If it says "HS Transcript" is missing, all you should do is follow their instructions for resending it.
