Help please: How have the curves for the Writing section been lately?

<p>I know that ETS has been releasing multiple versions of the SAT per month now, but in general...how have the curves for this section been? (including essay)</p>

<p>I've asked a few people in person-I was shocked to find that on one test a friend of mine got -2 on the multiple choice and 9 essay for a 720; another friend of mine got -3 on the multiple choice, 9 on the essay for a 780. How does that work? =/</p>

<p>I half bet that -2/9=720 was on January 07. It had bad curve.
I got -6/7=600 on Jan and -9/7=630 on June 07.</p>
