Ok, so it's that time of the year again. I'm applying to many colleges, but that's not what I need help with. So, every college has different schools which you can choose to apply to based on what you want to major in. The problem is I don't know what I want to major in and am VERY torn. I LOVE math, but standardized tests, which I get near-perfect scores in english, tell me that I'm better at that, even if slightly. Also, I love sociology and psychology, hate anatomy, and have no fricking clue what I want to be. I'm leaning towards something in the math field, but even so, I still don't know what in the math field. The problem is that most of the schools I'm applying to have seperate Engineering schools (obviously), but I'm applying to the College of Arts and Sciences at all because I'm undecided. I just don't want to go to the CAS and then not be able to become an engineer if that's what I want to be. I realize that this may be different from school to school, but is this doable at all? And if doable, is this a good idea?
Schools I'm applying to:
Ohio State University
UPenn
NYU
USC
University of Michigan (lol...I know...OSU and this)
and some others, but these are the main ones....thanks in advance.

Go with undecided major. Just because you like math you don't have to go for engineering. About half the people who sign up for engineering change ot something else anyway.

yeah, that's one of my major concerns. that i won't like engineering, but is it possible to transfer from the CAS to the college of engineering...say after or during first year?

call the admissions offices of all the colleges, and ask each college

or look at their websites, if the info is there

mmkay...lol you can't transfer into engineering (you can, but you basically have to restart because the engineering classes are so different)

what are you doing...don't respond to my stuff.^

I will do what I choose.
