<p>Hey Everyone/CC'ers.
I am an semi-average student in a normal High School, but I have a problem. I scored a 2180 on the SAT 1 on my first try. 580 CR 800 M 800 W 12 essay 49/49 MC. I tried many strategies for the CR and i keep getting from 650-720 on practice exams now that i prepared for reading. Basically, I didnt study at all for the SAT. I just walked in with a pencil, no calculator, blah blah blah and just sat for the exam. Im signed up for the DEC 1 SAT 1 and im kind of frustrated because I feel like retarded with a 580 on the CR.... I memorized the barrons3500 word list and direct hits 1 &2 list, in 2 weeks this month. I get 19/19 on the vocab but the CR passage questions fk me up. I have trouble, specifically, on the vocab-in-context passabe based reading questions... for ex... in line 18, "past" most nearly means ......a) blah b) clah c) dlah d) elah e) flah. I get all other questions correct 7 out of 8 times. </p>
<p>Kids keep telling me that im retarded because of that 580 when they see it on my report and it really feels like **** to see it with my own eyes. So.... what strategies are GUARANTEED for 720 or higher?</p>
