please help, very appreciated.

Yes, you’re a solid candidate - relax.

But you’re a HS sophomore!
Best advice - log out of CC and come back in a year. And take up the guitar.

You really want to go NU for PreMed. You have a good chance, but you still have two years to do bad/good, and still change your mind about where to go, or what to do. Stop worrying about your chances at getting into colleges two years from now.

And P.S. This isn’t urgent… Don’t say it is in the title

I do think that it’s beneficial to know what you want out of high school, even as a sophomore. However, as others have said, now is not the time to be worrying about admission chances. Rather, focus all of your energy on your studies and your extracurriculars, because one thing is for sure: if you don’t do well your junior and senior years, then your grades as an underclassmen are negligible.

That being said, you seem to be on the right track. Your PSAT, SAT, and SAT II scores are impressive for a sophomore, and NU (along with any college, for that matter) will take into account the rigor of your high school in evaluating your GPA.

Good luck!

P.S. I second Bala’s guitar suggestion.

how the hell is this post urgent… as good as it is to look at colleges early, it will only cause you to be more stressful; try to focus on getting some leadership positions and raise that SAT by alot. (maybe try taking ACT?)

Thanks for the input, you guys made me feel better about the situation, and sorry about posting “urgent” idk i posted like 30 min after i saw my grade and I was in a lot of shock (kinda, not really an excuse) but sorry :(

I just Got in on a 2080, youre on track. Trust me, ive been there, and now that I’m done Id say my one regret was stressing too much. Just do your thing and follow your goals, (I got in cuz I’m passionate about comedy, at least I think, it sure wasn’t the SAT), and you’ll be fine, just try not to think about it for the next year and a half
