Help w/ a sentence completion

The one w/ California having reform movements, what was the answer?

supposedly the answer is vanguard. does anyone else remember any of the other answer choices?

what CR test did u take? which passages

japanese poems & extraterrestrials

i belive it was vanguard, but does anyone know what the context/other choices were ?
also, for the others i remember:
dimutive/virulent
bain
amalgram
myraid
imperious
precarious (got this one wrong)
surruptitous (i forget if this one was on the test)

those were the ones i remember at least
can anyone confirm?

No it was not precarious, it was "supine"
Supine means lying on your back faced up.
In the context it said that the artwork was 2 feet from the ground meaning the artist had to lie down to paint it.

surreptitious is wrong. it meant sneaky

i know but still, they were so close

precarious: Dangerously lacking in security or stability: a precarious posture; precarious footing on the ladder

(not according to the dictionary ven haha)

su·pine Lying on the back or having the face upward.

learn to admit you are wrong at times...

i remember trying to choose between originate and vanguard. unfortunately i chose originate. ****

don't sweat it. if you got the western/japanese version then that section MUST BE EXPERIMENTAL

no vehement, i only had 3 critical reading sections and i had 4 math sections so i KNOW i had a math experimental.

sorry i am on crack.....

just realized i had that

I chose originate also, but I don't understand how they could both be answer choices. Vanguard is a noun and originate is a verb... Maybe they are from different questions.

yeah i am confused too. i personally don't remember vanguard being an answer choice, but somehow the consensus is that that is the answer. but o well...i assume i put originate. 2 sc missed...i was so happy when I thought I missed only 1 (i suck @ vocab).

Yeah, I completely guessed on recalcitrant and supine.

Yeah, i also dont remember vanguard as an answer choice. Also, im pretty sure i would not have put a verb in (originate) where a noun should have been. Oh well, i guess we will see in 2 weeks!

Assume that the artist is of average height and u can deduce that he doesn't need to be in a supine position to paint the artwork provided that it's jus 2 feet above the ground; a normal person should be around 6 feet tall and therefore the cave painting should be directly in front of him. Based on this mindset, I chose "facile" instead of "supine".

I might be wrong though....

The cave painting was on the ceiling of the cave, so the artist had to be lying on his back.

oh, it was?

I dun remember that part of the question, lol
