Hey! So lets get right down to the spiel. I'm a Junior going into Senior Year (New Jersey); Have a 3.2 GPA; Have an 1840 SAT (My Practice SATs were 2000+ and i screwed up my math so hopefully i can get 200+ on the next one i take); And i have 4 years of work experience during all 4 summers. My choice of college, after calculating cost, commute/dorm, tuition, area, I have narrowed it down to two options. Option number one is Rutgers. I contrived this answer by factoring in my cost (gonna have financial aid) and my location (NJ) makes it much easier to get in. One i get into Rutgers i might transfer to somewhere else like NYU (I want to be a doctor so the loans will be inconsequential once i get my MD). My second option is to go to community college for 2 years then transfer to a much higher school such as NYU/Cornell ect ect. I had my awakening in education a bit late and now i'm paying the consequences. So thanks for the help and if u wanna suggest anything go for it!

if you get the SAT above a 2000, and apply early, I think you will be a very good candidate for Rutgers. I know so many people who got into Rutgers, and many didn’t have an SAT above 2000. Or, get that GPA up but honestly, according to my school’s naviance, your GPA is a little low, but a 2000 and above may cancel that out. IDK, but you should be competitive if you get above a 2000. You could probs get in with your 1840, but thats a smaller chance and it would be better for you to raise the score and GPA
