The Glas Castcle
Stiff

AND 2 from these:
Brand Name Bullies
The gatekeepers
Fast Food nation
The audacity of Hope
Class matters
Everything bad is good for you
blink
the world is flat
The wal-mart effect
Nickel and Dimed
War on the Middle class

Thanks!

The only book I’ve even heard of out of those is The World is Flat.

Audacity of Hope was pretty interesting, though a bit difficult to get through (Obama used some pretty big words).

Fast Food Nation was really good. I definitely recommend that one.

The world is flat is REALLY good. That book would be useful for a lot of subjects!
Also fast food nation is good.

i heard fast food nation is a good book.

Angela’s Ashes
Fast Food Nation
The World Is Flat

That’s what I would choose.

Fast Food Nation isn’t exactly the most fun book to read, but it’s pretty interesting  Makes you look at fast food a little different and forces you to think about the fast food you’re eating.

I heard from my English teacher that Angela’s Ashes is really sad but a good memoir; I haven’t read it though.

The Glass Castle is really good and easy to read. I’d recommend it.

Fast Food Nation… Read it in AP English, it was interesting but boring.
The Wal-Mart Effect… I hate Wal Mart.
The Glass Castle… Only because it is the only one that sounds interesting.

I read The Tipping Point, and my teacher also recommended The World is Flat.

I forgot to mention one, Freakonomics. I’ve started it already, it’s VERY interesting

I’ll probably go with the world is flat after, then angela’s ashes. Thanks everyone!

Definitely read Freakonomics. It’s the best non-literature book I’ve ever read.

The Glass castle and blink are great. And although I haven’t read nickel and dimed, I did read another book for my statistics class called A Mathematician reads the newspaper. I loved it, and it was a quick read as well.
But most of the books on this list really aren’t that difficult, maybe you should challenge yourself and read something a bit more intense. Crime and Punishment is a great read, along with invisible cities.

Good luck :)
