HELP! Which is better to take this spring? SOC 1101 or DSOC 1101?

Hey! I’m a senior in Human Ecology majoring in Human Development. I will be graduating May 2015.
I was wondering which class is better to take Developmental Sociology 1101 with Professor Angela Gonzales? Or Introduction to Sociology with Professor Paromita Sanyal?

I went on rate my professor and Professor Gonzales did not get good reviews - I couldn’t find much on Professor Sanyal.
Lastly… does anyone know the format for the classes? (eg., how many prelims? # of readings/homework/assignments?)

Hi I am in the same position this year–deciding between soc 1101 and dsoc 1101. The professors this spring will be Angela Gonzales for dsoc and Kendra Bischoff for soc. Which one did you end up taking and what did you think of it? Or does anyone else have any advice or info on the format?
