I’m in need of advice ASAP! So I decided on a university that is out of state, I’ve committed and paid my fines which weren’t too drastic. I thought I had made the right choice but now I’m beginning to doubt it again. The area is not too pleasing to me and the my fafsa did not help AT ALL, so my cost will be enormous. Even if I did attend, I plan to transfer to an in state school after the first year. Is it worth it to spend the money and go, or should/can I withdrawal myself and go to community college for a year and then transfer. I’m very torn about what to do. Any advice would be helpful.
Fines?
Like fees/deposits
Do you live in California? What would be your Cost of Attendance to attend this Out of State Institution? I would go to a Community College for 2 years and then transfer to an Instate 4-year University. Spending “enormous” amount of money for 1-year at this OOS School will not get you anything, beyond what you can achieve by attending a Community College (CC) for 1 - 2 years (IMHO). If you are from California, their insanely low CC rates are hard to beat.
What state do you live in? What’s your EFC? What’s “enormous” and how is it paid? What’s your GPA and what are your test scores?
