<p>Well I just sent all my college apps today and I realized that I picked the wrong topic for my essay (my essay was on a person who has influenced you but I selected another topic). I Just wanted to know how I could correct this and I hope this doesn't jeopardize my chances :.</p>

<p>Don't sweat this. The admissions people are bright enough to figure out that you checked the wrong box by mistake. It's not a big deal and I doubt they will penalize you for it.</p>
