Help with logistics in getting flights home from Pepperdine

<p>Hi, our son is a freshman at Pepperdine and we have driven down to get him (we live in no. calif - a 6 hour one way trip) and then turned around and driven home.</p>

<p>Needless to say, the 12 hour drive in one day is very tedious.</p>

<p>Is there a process at the school where students can get to the LAX airport? A shuttle service? Other students that can car pool there? A bulletin board where my son can post <em>need a lift to airport Saturday, Dec 15 a.m.</em> ? Something?</p>

<p>Or is the best bet to call one of those Super Shuttle vans and do it on our own?</p>

<p>Will the Pepperdine gate keeper let the van in?</p>

<p>Thanks for any advice - it does seem like most students live in so. calif but there has to be some students that need to get to the airport and don't have a car.</p>

<p>There is a service for a fee, but less that the super shuttle that one of the student organizations offers. I have seen it posted on the student activities website. Some of the kids just help each other. My D has taken friends to the airport and picked them up on her way home and back. I am sure if he asks around early enough he can find a ride. There should be no problem getting the super shuttle on campus too. Enjoy the holiday with your son.</p>
