I recently took the May SAT and my scores came back yesterday, I got a 1000. I know it isn’t the worst but I really want to do better, I want to apply to art schools and New York schools ( I live in NJ). My goal score is a 1200, how can I get there?

Math has always been a hard subject for me.
Any book recommendations? I think I want to take the June SAT.
My daughter is thinking about either elementary ed or something in Art. Here are schools she’ll be thinking about in the SUNY/CUNY systems:

ETA, the formatting crashed… sorry!
Speaking as an SAT tutor, you can take June, but you probably won’t improve much by then. A later test date will give you more time to prepare.
At the very least, you should do the Khan Academy program. It’s not perfect, but it will familiarize you with the test and will teach you some stuff–and it’s free.
Also, look at the ACT. Most students do similarly on both, but there are exceptions. Some do much better on one than the other.
