<p>Wait guys, I don't understand something.</p>

<p>when applying to competitive colleges/universities and ivies such as hyps, how do they look at gpa?</p>

<p>do they look at your w/uw gpa every year [meaning gpa at the end of fresh year, soph year, junior year], or do they look at your current gpa when you apply [meaning the gpa after the first semester of senior year]?</p>

<p>Each college is different. Alot of publics and quite a few privates see your sophmore to end of junior GPA and weigh it according to what they see is worth giving an extra point. Some go freshman to end of junior year GPA weighted. THey dont individually look at each years GPA and weigh that which makes no sense anyway</p>
