The good: your GPA

The bad: You have no shot with a 27. I’m not sure on 1340 but that’s better. What is your single sitting SAT?

The hope: You can’t bring GPA up as a senior. You can bring test scores up. But you need to get to at least a 32. That’s a big jump. Your SAT is much better. Maybe focus on that. I’d shoot for at least 1450 but that is probably doable.

Last, Tulane cares about showing interest. Read Tulane Jeff’s blogs. Lots of good info. Lots of good info on old threads here too.

My single sitting SAT is 1320, but I know they superscore, I believe I can at least get a 30 and I can at least get a 1390for my next two tests. Thanks for the reply and what are some good examples to show interest?

Some ways to show interest are by visiting the school if possible, it not attend a Tulane in your Town even (can be found on admissions page, they occur in the fall). Be sure to complete the “optional” Why Tulane essay and write a good essay about why you want to attend Tulane- something specific to your goals and interests and how they relate to Tulane. Learn about the programs you are interested in, research opportunities, professors in the department, public service etc. Good luck!
