Rutgers Business School

GPA: 3.8
High School GPA: 3.8
ACT Score: 29

My life is quite diverse from most people. I've been in boarding school in india from 6th grade to 10th grade. I came back to the US to do 11th and 12th. I am a US citizen.

My high school GPA is low because i had a car accident during freshman year (high school summer). My skull broke so I had 2 surgeries and missed 5 months of school.

AP's: AP Macroeconomics 5, AP Calc AB 5, AP Biology 5, AP Statistics 5, AP US History 4. I took all of these AP's in senior year

Extra Curricular's: Varsity Tennis, Varsity Soccer (High School)

I would like to transfer as a sophomore. I have all the pre requisites required by Wharton. What are my chances of admission.

They are very low. Wharton is hard to transfer into as a Penn student. But as an external transfer it is very hard. I only know one person who transferred to Wharton, he had a 3.9 at Columbia

Jenga, Swag, there’s not much difference between a 3.8 and a 3.9. What’s the big deal? Swag, regardless of what these guys say, go for it. This place is good for tossing out Q&A, but don’t take anything that says a 3.8 and lots of 5’s with one 4 are low.

Chances of admission are always low at Wharton. That said, you will be a competitive applicant. Good luck!

Your chances will be low like most everyone else. Unless theres something on your application that’ll definitely distinguish you from the other applications, your chances are as good as theirs. Transferring into Wharton is incredibly difficult. Try to convince them as much as possible that you’re the right fit for their school. My cousin went there and loved it.

There is a big difference between Columbia university and Rutgers

Yeah, Columbia (and other Ivies) practice huge grade inflation…

Hey Guys what if I wanted to transfer to Stern, Villanova or Emory. I had a low GPA cuz of my accident. I have global exposure cuz I went to boarding school in India.
